Amazon Fulfillment Center

Twenty years after Ryerson Steel and others left the community, taking with them nearly 40,000 jobs, Pullman Park has become the city’s most vibrant industrial park and the largest growing employment area in the city.

When it cut the ribbon for its first Chicago Fulfillment Center a mere nine months after announcing its location decision and the start of construction, Amazon became the fifth   company to choose Pullman Park for its location in as many years. The new 150,000 square foot center is located on land developed by CNI and Ryan Companies in Pullman Park, a 180-acre development that was formerly the site of Ryerson Steel.
